Swiss Info Day for Security Research (FP7) - Berne, 26 June 08 06/06/2008
The next FP7 Security Call is planned for 24 July 2008 with an indicative budget of about € 117 mio. So far, topics include the development of an advanced forensic toolbox, bio-dosimetric tools, a sea port surveillance system, as well as a study of supply chains and market integration or a roadmap for an aftermath crisis system.  Two keynote speeches on the tensions between personal liberty and public security and on the political context of the Security programme in FP7 will frame three shorter papers presenting the research needs of public end-users such as police forces or customs authorities as well as a more detailed presentation of the topics foreseen for the Security Call 2009. In addition to such privileged information, participants will also get plenty of time to talk to each other and exchange their ideas. Registration deadline: Friday, 13 June 2008
