Dear Sir/Madam,
welcome to the webpage of the “FP7-ICT Cooperation Market for successful international networking with focus on broadband communications” networking event. The event, was co-organised by 5 EU funded SSA projects (EPISTEP, HAGRID, Hungary for FP6, Ideal-ist, Star-Net), hold during the 16th IST Mobile and Wireless Communication Summit on 5 July, in Budapest (www.mobilesummit2007.org).
The aim of the networking event/workshop was twofold. On the first hand it aimed to increase the awareness of the participants on the Strategic Research Agendas (SRA) of the European Technology Platforms (ETP) and their actual status in the forthcoming calls while on the other hand it helped the networking of researchers and especially helped them to find partners for future joint European research proposals in the Information and Communication Technologies and Applications.
In the morning part of the event plenary sessions took place on the SRAs of the ETPs while in the afternoon bilateral meetings were organised according to the pre-selection of the participants.
The presentations of the morning session and the catalogue of participants and proposal ideas are uploaded to the “Download” section of this webpage.
I would like to use this opportunity and highlight that the next networking event of HAGRID will take place in The Hague on 23 October 2007 as a pre-conference event of eChallenges 2007 (www.echallenges.org).
The registration for the networking event in The Hague will be open from 20 August: www.hagridproject.net/thehague.
